What got me into Cooking?

As a young child, I always loved food.  My mom cooked dinner for us every night.  On Sunday, she would usually make "gravy" or "Sunday Sauce" and the smell of the garlic, onions and meatballs would always make my mouth water.  To this very day, when I start a recipe with onions and garlic, the delicious aroma instantly transports me back to my childhood.

I was lucky enough to learn to cook from my mom, and my grandmothers and my grandfather, Ralph.  Time spent in the kitchen with them was always special to me.  The memories that we make cooking with the people we love will ALWAYS inspire me to cook for the rest of my life.

And now, my FAVORITE thing to do is to teach people how to cook.  Simple recipes, that make them LOVE food. The best gift you can give someone that you love is to teach them how to cook and share your passion for food with them.
